Designed with the help of Yianni Diakomihalis himself, the Spartan Combat Yianni Wrestling Shoe offers a retro style look with today's incorporated technology. The Ultra Suede material doesn't have the memory attributes that nylon and mesh offer, which allows the shoe (even after being worn a few times) to conform to the athlete’s foot. The sole has been updated to resist chipping and delamination while giving lateral traction that the wrestler counts on. This retro style is sought after by some of the best wrestlers in the world, and with the input Yianni offered when personally testing the shoe, helped create the world's best ultimate performance shoe.

Tough, Light, and Comfortable

Since buying them I’ve had them for a little over half a year and these bad boys are great. Initially are a bit stiff but grip really well to the mat. After some time they mold to your feet and are like a grippy sock with some ankle support. The grip and soles have held up through all my practices and tournaments, although they can slip a bit if the mat is wet from sweat or cleaner. Other than that they are a beauty in design, yet can take a beating and are great for being able to fully feel the mat and move with speed and agility. I plan on getting another pair at some point and hope they hold the same integrity as the ones I have now.
